From the time Seedbed began, Pastors have been at the center of our mission.

When I say that we gather, connect, and resource the people of God to sow for a great awakening, so much of what we intend to do is focused on gathering, connecting, and resources Pastors to thrive as awakening leaders in their homes, churches, and communities.

In fact, a number of our staff and leaders are Pastors, in either formal or voluntary roles as they serve with Seedbed.

2026 New Room Pastors Retreat!

We will come away together for fellowship, friendship, and communion with Jesus.

Through a catalytic combination of rest, teaching, and fellowship with one another, this retreat will resource our great need for wisdom and courage, for healing and equipping, and all for the sake of our shared work of sowing for awakening in our age.

Nope to tons of speakers with lots of sessions and even more breakouts.
Yes to a few sessions with the same uncelebrity speaker and several sensei-retreat guides discerning the Spirit’s work among us.

Nope to high energy loud worship.
Yes to stripped down acoustic contemplative song, scripture, and prayer.

Nope to how to’s, must do’s and pro-tips.
Yes to one-on-ones, long walks, and friend making.

Rich Villodas, J. D. Walt, myself and others will be there, all to minister to you as we enjoy Jesus and minister to one another.

And the best part? Jesus will be among us—in green pastures, beside still waters, restoring our souls—re-fitting us with his easy yoke, retooling our ways to do the work of God in ways that enlarges the work of God in us.

We need this. This is the way. Let’s walk it together.

What Else We Have Planned for Pastors

With Lent and Advent, we are always hosting Preaching Workshops that go along with our Church Kits, and often we provide a Tuesday afternoon Preacher’s Fellowship, preparing sermons together to go along with the latest Wake-Up Call Series.

For example, our Brought to the Light Advent Series 2025 has a church kit and a Preaching Workshop coming up. Check it out!
