This year we have had the privilege of working with Dr. Sterling M. Allen, a leading Charles Wesley scholar, on the new Seedbed Worship Planner 2025-2026!

Sterling is the senior pastor at Cornerstone Global Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, and serves as adjunct faculty at Baylor University Truett Theological Seminary Wesley House of Studies for the Pastoral Studies Program. As an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church, Dr. Allen has served in various capacities as a worship leader, musician, and pastor for more than twenty-six years in large church settings in Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. In 2024, Dr. Allen served as the worship director for the historic Convening Conference of the Global Methodist Church in San Jose, Costa Rica, and edited the all-Wesley hymnal O for a Heart to Praise My God (Seedbed 2024).

The Seedbed Worship Planner is Lectionary Year A, and covers the First Sunday of Advent through Christ the King Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025 – Nov. 22, 2026.
