The Travels of a THANK YOU in the Awakening World!

One of the books I encouraged my International Business students to read was called, The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy. 

It was fascinating. It explained why US-grown cotton is shipped to the Far East for t-shirt manufacture, then shipped back to the US for retail, passed on to thrift stores, and ultimately shipped to Africa—where it becomes a fashion item once again.

Just as cotton travels all over the World in the Global Economy, a THANK YOU travels a great distance in the Awakening World and impacts thousands.

Here’s the THANK YOU I’m writing about.

THANK YOU for all your sowing into our Spring Campaign. Together, you sowed $200,000 into the Wake-Up Call and helped replenish the Great Awakening Fund (which is still low because we can’t stop sowing)!

And a special big THANK YOU to over one hundred of you who sowed into our ministry for the first time!

Let’s trace how this heartfelt THANK YOU arrived in your inbox.

First, we all said THANK YOU  to the Lord Jesus Christ for revealing God’s love to us.

J. D. Walt said THANK YOU to the Lord, and the Lord inspired him to launch Seedbed and begin writing the Wake-Up Call (previously the Daily Text).

People wrote to J. D. to say THANK YOU and told their friends and churches.

Their friends said, THANK YOU, and “Can you put these devotionals into books so we can use them together in our churches?” We did.

Pastors wrote to say THANK YOU and “Can you help us to use Wake-Up Call material in our sermons?” J.D. launched the Fellowship of Awakening Pastors (you should join if, like me, you are a pastor; just email us).

People said THANK YOU and “Can we meet one another”? 

So Seedbed launched the New Room Conference (don’t forget to join us in Montgomery, AL, 17-29 September).

Pastors said THANK YOU (again and again), and more people subscribed to read or listen to the Wake-Up Call.

You formed the Sower Nation!

Because you shared your THANK YOU’s with us and told your friends, the Wake-Up Call now has 40,000 daily subscribers. 

And the Wake-Up Call was listened to or read over 8 million times last year!

But you’re not done. You keep saying THANK YOU and “Even more people need the Wake-Up Call.”

We said THANK YOU and “Can you help us cover the costs to keep it free?”

You said “THANK YOU for asking. We want to help financially so the Wake-Up Call can continue as free seed.” You Helped.
